IBMC is assisting a premier beach club and lifestyle venue in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. Known for its vibrant atmosphere, high-end hospitality, and stunning coastal views, our client offers an exceptional dining and beverage experience for local and international travelers alike. We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on, and business-savvy Bar Manager to lead our bar operations and beverage program.

The Bar Manager is responsible for the overall operation, performance, and profitability of the bar. You will lead the bar team, maintain high standards of service and mixology, manage beverage inventory and COGS, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and deliver an outstanding guest experience. This is a floor-active leadership role that requires strong financial acumen, team management skills, and creative beverage development capability.

Working Location & Relocation Terms

• Location: On-site in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (Beach Club Venue).
• Relocation Policy: Open to candidates based in Lombok or those willing to relocate. Please note that accommodation, flight, and relocation allowances are NOT provided by the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Bar Operations & Floor Presence: Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service, cleanliness, organization, and adherence to brand standards. Maintain a strong, professional presence on the floor.
• Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, supervise, motivate, and evaluate bartenders, barbacks, and floor staff while fostering a positive, professional work environment.
• Beverage Management & Menu Design: Develop and maintain creative cocktail, beverage, and wine menus aligned with the venue's beach club concept, target market, and revenue goals.
• Inventory, COGS & Profitability: Monitor beverage inventory, conduct regular stock counts, manage purchasing, control labor costs, minimize waste, and maintain healthy profit margins.
• Quality & Portion Control: Maintain consistent standards for cocktail recipes, presentation, taste, portion control, and service procedures across all shifts.
• Staff Scheduling: Prepare efficient shift rosters based on business demand, event forecasts, and sales targets while optimizing labor costs.
• Maintenance & Hygiene: Ensure the bar, equipment, glassware, tools, storage areas, and service stations are kept clean, fully functional, and compliant with health regulations.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of bar management or supervisory experience in a high-volume Beach Club, Lifestyle Venue, Hotel Bar, or High-End Restaurant.
• Mixology & Product Knowledge: Strong background in mixology, cocktail creation, spirit knowledge, wine curation, and beverage menu engineering.
• Operational & Financial Acumen: Proven experience in inventory management, COGS control, stocktaking, beverage cost analysis, and staffing/rostering.
• Leadership & Guest Service: Exceptional leadership, staff training capability, and guest relations skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• Language Skills: Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia (ability to converse fluently with international beach club guests is mandatory).
• Location/Relocation: Based in Lombok OR fully willing to relocate to Lombok independently (without relocation allowance).
