As the Banquet Manager, you will oversee the execution of all banquet and event operations, ensuring every detail is in place for a seamless and memorable guest experience. You will work closely with Culinary and F&B to coordinate menus, staffing, setup and timing, while leading your team to deliver service at the highest level. The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to coordinate multiple internal teams and external partners, including large corporate clients and event companies.
About you...
- At least 2 years of experience in banquet management or a similar role within hospitality.
- Experience from a luxury hotel or high-end events environment is an asset.
- Strong understanding of event operations, service standards, timing and execution.
- You work closely with Culinary and F&B to ensure smooth coordination from planning through to execution.
- You are highly organised and able to manage multiple events, priorities and moving parts simultaneously.
- You have experience working with external companies, corporate clients and event partners, ensuring clear communication and seamless delivery.
- You lead by example, motivating and supporting your team to deliver consistently high service standards.
- You have a strong eye for detail and take ownership of the guest experience, from setup and service to breakdown.
- You remain calm and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment where timing is essential.
- You are flexible to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
