Bank Staff Nurse- Stoma Specialist

Leeds Hospital | Nursing | Bank | Part Time |

Up to £45 per hour depending on experience


Our ward team in our Leeds Hospital currently have an internal opportunity for a Bank Staff Nurse - Stoma Specialist. Continue your journey with us whilst we’ll support you to be your best.

We are seeking an experienced specialist nurse with the ability to work autonomously in this specialty

As a Staff Nurse you will;


  • Ensure specialist stoma care service is provided within the hospital.
  • Clinically manage patient pathway in collaboration with members of the multi-professional team.
  • Support patients through their journey.
  • Act as a resource for healthcare professionals and others involved in the delivery of care to this group of people.

To succeed as a Staff Nurse- Stoma Specialist in our Ward you will;


  • Have a registration with the appropriate governing body and have the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC.
  • Have post-registration experience.
  • Be an excellent communicator and team worker – plus be flexible and motivated.
  • Have the ability to fully understand each patient’s needs and provide individual attention.

The CQC highlighted that patient care was at the heart of the service and this is testimony to the commitment, skill, and pride of the team at the hospital. Our successful, purpose-built hospital deals with complex surgery and a vast range of specialities involving some 300 consultants. There are 80 bedrooms, an 8 bed Level 3 critical care unit and 6 theatres (2 Stryker laparoscopic and 2 laminar flow).  We are close to the city centre and central railway station.
