JOB SUMMARY
Brio is seeking an senior professional based in India to lead execution across Strategic Finance, FP&A, and Corporate Accounting. This role serves as the primary India-based counterpart to U.S. finance and investment leadership and is responsible for translating U.S.-defined strategy, priorities, and operating standards into consistent, high-quality execution at scale.
The ideal candidate is a strong people leader and operational finance executive who combines analytical rigor with execution discipline. This role owns day-to-day delivery, enforces quality and controls, develops high-performing teams, and ensures finance operations are reliable, scalable, and decision-useful, supporting the efficient deployment, monitoring, and return of investor capital.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Execution Management
- Lead managers and individual contributors across Strategic Finance, FP&A and Corporate Accounting
- Own day-to-day execution, capacity planning, workload prioritization and on-time delivery
- Establish clear performance standards, KPIs, and accountability mechanisms
- Coach and develop managers and high-performing individual contributors
- Partner with U.S. leadership on hiring plans, onboarding, and team growth
Strategic Finance & Analytics
- Lead a team responsible for:
- Recurring financial, operational and investment reporting
- Ad hoc analysis to support leadership
- Support for budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes
- Act as a quality-control and review layer before outputs are shared with U.S. stakeholders
- Ensure analyses are accurate, clearly communicated, and decision-useful
Process Discipline & Continuous Improvement
- Execute U.S.-defined processes while identifying opportunities to:
- Improve efficiency and throughput
- Reduce errors and rework
- Strengthening documentation and controls
Cross-Border Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for India-based finance function
- Provide regular visibility into:
- Capacity, throughput, and delivery timelines
- Operational risks and issues
- Process stability and improvement opportunities
- Communicate proactively across time zones
- Escalate issues early with context and recommended actions

- India-based Strategic Finance, FP&A, and Accounting teams deliver consistently accurate, timely, and decision‑ready outputs with minimal rework
- U.S. leadership has high confidence delegating critical finance and investment workflows without needing to closely manage execution
- Teams operate with clear ownership, predictable capacity, and well‑understood priorities
- Core reporting, analysis, and planning processes are standardized, well‑documented, and scalable
- Financial analyses are trusted, clearly communicated, and routinely used in executive and investment decisions
- Finance execution enables faster, more confident deployment and monitoring of investor capital
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 14+ years of experience in corporate finance or related roles within financial services, asset management, private credit, or similar environments
- Proven experience managing teams
- Strong background in strategic finance, analytics, or FP&A‑type functions
- Demonstrated ability to execute U.S.-defined processes and priorities in a globally distributed organization
- Experience working with external counterparties
- Strong process orientation, with experience improving controls, documentation, and scalability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly across time zones and seniority levels
