DuPont is seeking an Automation Engineer to support automation and controls initiatives across our Valley View and Stow manufacturing sites. This role will focus on implementing robotic solutions, upgrading machine controls, improving manufacturing processes, and supporting automation projects that enhance safety, productivity, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support automation and robotics solutions within manufacturing operations.
• Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs, controls, and machine logic.
• Support controller upgrades and equipment modernization projects.
• Lead automation and capital projects from concept through startup.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to solve technical challenges.
• Improve machine safety, reliability, and performance.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of automation-related issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 1+ years of automation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC programming, machine controls, and automation systems.
• Experience with robotics integration and industrial equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Universal Robots (UR) and/or ABB Robotics.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and control systems.
• HMI development experience.
• Knowledge of CNC equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, and machine safety systems.

This role supports both Valley View and Stow, OH, with most time spent at the Valley View site and regular travel between locations.
