About this Automated Test Engineer Expert role at Leidos
Leidos is seeking an Application Tester for a technical development program of 200+ FTE supporting the Sponsor’s Attribute/Entitlement Services within the IDAM/ICAM space. The Test Engineer will support the test of access control systems for a government customer. The successful candidate will support continuity of our customer’s mission by helping ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain test plans for web, mobile, and API testing.
- Execute manual tests to identify defects and report them to the development team
- Collaborate with developers and QA peers to identify test scenarios and automation opportunities.
- Contribute to test planning, case design, and documentation.
- Support the team with User acceptance teams to include roles, test scripts, reporting results and scheduling testing meetings with the UAT users.
- Familiar with agile methodology and continuous feature testing
- Stay updated with emerging test automation tools and techniques.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 12+ years of experience.
- Software professional experience in QA with a focus on automation
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Katalon)
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#)
- Experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps)
- Understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Desired Qualifications
- Automation Testing - Katalon experience
- Good knowledge of SQL for database testing.
- Experience with version control (Git).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Pay Range:
Pay Range $116,350.00 - $210,325.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
