Key responsibilities

As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for the following day-to-day activities:

  • Assist in delivering high-quality audit and other assurance services to clients across a range of industries.
  • Identify, evaluate and clearly communicate accounting and auditing matters to engagement partners.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for performance improvement, both within engagements and internal processes.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure efficient, timely and accurate information flow between the client and the audit team.
  • Support engagement planning, including the preparation of audit budgets, plans, proposals and client presentations.
  • Supervise, coach and provide constructive feedback to junior team members, supporting their professional development.
  • Support business development activities with Chinese client including marketing events, client pursuit and proposal coordination etc.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ external audit experience, preferably within a professional services firm.
  • CPA qualification or equivalent professional certification.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Business-professional proficiency in spoken and written Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
