As an Audit & Assurance - Specialised Services - Associate, you will play a pivotal role in providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements and internal controls, enhancing the credibility and reliability of information for various stakeholders. Within our Assurance practice, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about the accuracy of financial statements, identifying potential misstatements due to fraud or error, and contributing to the issuance of auditor reports.
As an Associate, you will be driven by curiosity and adaptability, contributing to client engagements and projects while developing your skills and knowledge. You will learn to build meaningful client connections, manage diverse perspectives, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge and understanding your strengths. Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to handle day-to-day accounting and investment activities of multiple entities, which include processing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank reconciliation, GST/Sales Tax Reconciliation, Investment Activity Reconciliation, T Slip Reconciliation, Employee expenses processing on cloud-based accounting platforms and Financial Statements and Management Accounts Review.
- Handling day-to-day bookkeeping of multiple clients and meeting deadlines.
- Establish effective working relationships directly with clients.
- Good accounting knowledge
- Brief knowledge of GST
- MS Office (good knowledge of MS Excel)
- Knowledge of Xero Accounting Software would be an added advantage
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or CA Inter (pursuing)
- Years of Experience: 0 - 2 years
- Good Communication Skill
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
