As a Product & Services Senior Associate you will support financial statement audit work within our Audit and Assurance practice, focusing on independent assessments of financial statements, internal controls, governance, and risk management processes. In this role, you will help evaluate whether financial statements are free from material misstatement due to fraud or error, while contributing to work that serves a range of stakeholders.
As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex issues, manage assigned workstreams, mentor associates and junior team members, and build meaningful client connections while developing your technical skills and business context. You will use critical thinking, interpret data to inform recommendations, and uphold professional and technical standards as you grow your personal brand in a role that calls for discretion, accountability, and adaptability.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Kolkata, you will support audit procedures, coordinate deliverables, and respond to shifting priorities across engagement workstreams. You will also use firm methodologies and technology resources to complete assigned tasks, communicate clearly, and contribute to a service environment focused on quality, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
Manage demand, capacity, and staffing fulfillment: Review demand pipelines, fulfill staffing requests within SLAs, align resources to client needs, skills, scope, experience, productivity expectations, and staffing plans while minimizing gaps, overbooking, conflicts, and non-billable time.
Ensure compliance, quality, and performance: Maintain 100% compliance with staffing rules and allocation restrictions, monitor delivery quality, and demonstrate success against business, operational, and people management KPIs.
Drive reporting, stakeholder engagement, and improvement: Publish dashboards and KPI reports, participate in business/deployment reviews, address unplanned demand, and lead process improvement, transformation, and automation initiatives to improve efficiency.
What You Must Have
- Graduate or post-graduate in any workstream, with a good academic record.
- At least 4-5 years of experience
- 1– 2 years of experience in managing stakeholders will be preferred.
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
- Must have hands-on knowledge of working on staffing tools.
