As a Digital Assurance Associate you will support audit and assurance work focused on clients’ digital environments, including processes and controls, cyber security measures, data and AI systems, and the governance around them within our Audit and Assurance practice. As an Associate you will contribute through learning-focused client support, adaptability, and reliable execution while building your technical knowledge, asking questions, and developing your professional brand in a fast-paced setting. In this role at PwC, you will gather information from multiple sources, interpret findings, apply professional and technical standards, and deliver work that supports the team’s objectives and helps build trust in technology and business information.
Responsibilities
- Supporting digital assurance engagements focused on client technology environments, internal controls, cybersecurity measures, data systems, and governance processes
- Gathering information from system documentation, process walkthroughs, and stakeholder discussions to evaluate risks and control design
- Performing testing procedures over IT controls, application controls, and data quality checks using audit and validation methods
- Reviewing evidence related to cloud platforms, artificial intelligence systems, and other digital tools to identify control gaps and process issues
- Documenting findings clearly and organizing workpapers that align with professional and technical standards
- Interpreting data from multiple sources to identify patterns, exceptions, and areas that need further follow up
- Applying knowledge of compliance requirements, regulatory guidance, and governance frameworks in day-to-day client work
- Collaborating with senior team members to support project tasks, respond to changing client needs, and deliver reliable work
What You Must Have
Minimum 2-4 experience in the domains mentioned in the Job Description above and Candidates with “Big 4” or equivalent experience would be preferred
Knowledge in SOC 1 & SOC 2 testing/SOX 404
Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering with specialization in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems or Information Technology.
Chartered Accountant (Not mandatory)
Understanding of audit concepts and regulations
