As a Data Engineer Associate, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth. Within our Assurance practice, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.

As an Associate, you will be driven by curiosity and contribute to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources. You will be expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, embrace ambiguity, ask questions, and use these challenges as opportunities for growth.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will adapt to working with a variety of clients and team members, each presenting varying challenges and scope. Responsibilities

- Designing and implementing data pipelines to facilitate efficient data processing and analysis
- Developing data integration and transformation solutions using platforms like Apache Airflow and Azure Data Factory
- Building scalable data infrastructure to support complex data engineering tasks
- Utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure Databricks for cloud-based data solutions
- Applying data architecture development techniques to enhance data quality and validation processes
- Optimizing database performance through query optimization and database management systems
- Collaborating with team members to address data challenges and drive business growth
- Engaging in active listening and accepting feedback to improve personal and team performance
- Adopting agile scalability practices to adapt to changing client needs and project scopes
- Upholding professional standards and the Firm's code of conduct in all data engineering activities

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
- Utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure Databricks
- Developing data pipelines and data integration solutions
- Implementing data warehouse indexing and troubleshooting
- Excelling in data architecture development and optimization
- Applying agile scalability in data engineering projects
- Demonstrating intellectual curiosity and adaptability in fast-paced environments
