This position reports to:
ME Operation Manager__
Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of extra small, small and medium size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining and applying basic project scheduling techniques to manage schedule risks proactively, coordinate with all stake holders, deliver contracted deliverables and meet the committed project result.
The work model for the role is Hybrid - Onsite and ABB office
This role is contributing to the Automation Business Area, Process Industries Division, Mining & Materials Business Line Primarily in Saudi Arabia and extended to other GCC countries . Main stakeholders are Mining & Cements manufacturers.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Leading the project team allocated to the project.
- Prepare BOM and support procurement
- Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
- Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
- Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

Qualifications for the role :
- You are highly skilled in and enjoy working with Project Management Tools and methodologies in Automation & Electrical Engineering Projects in Process Industries sector.
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in / Have established skills / advanced skills / You have 5 years of experience in Project Engineering . Associate Project Management / Project Management field
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of / You are qualified in / Highly adept in project scheduling, Progress monitoring & Procurement Tools
- You are passionate about / you are captivated by / you are innovative around using latest tools, Perform risk assessment & Opportunity capture
- Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics / Automation Engineering / Have a demonstrated track record in / Extensive knowledge of / Proven experience in Electrical / Automation Projects
- You are at ease communicating in Arabic / English
- Preferably PMP Certification
