Associate Project Controller Protege Trainee (Ref. No. R0143342 )
at our location in Kuala-Lumpur
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update project control tools, dashboards, and financial trackers.
- Review Purchase Requisition (PR) requests against approved project budgets before release and escalate any exceptions.
- Review project timesheets to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support monthly project financial closing, reporting, reconciliations, and forecast updates.
- Assist with project cost monitoring, budget tracking, and financial analysis.
- Prepare reports and ad hoc analyses to support Project Controllers and Project Managers.
- Liaise with Project Managers, Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with project governance processes.
- Support continuous improvement of project control processes and reporting tools.
- Progressively manage assigned low-complexity projects and/or product and spare parts sales orders as part of professional development.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
Knowledge/ Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail.
Personal Attributes
- Good communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, willing to learn, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
