Type: Full-time

Role Purpose

We are looking for a designer who can create accessible, inclusive experiences across native mobile and web platforms, with guidance from senior designers as they build proficiency in problem framing and craft.

This role is well suited to someone who is eager to learn, handles day-to-day ambiguity with support, and is actively developing their thinking and craft through feedback and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Product Design

  • Support end-to-end UX design across defined workflows — from problem framing through final flows and prototypes — with guidance from senior designers.
  • Work with structured requirements and, with support, help translate them into intuitive solutions.
  • Ensure all designs align with WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Design seamlessly for both mobile and web with responsive logic.

Visual & Interaction Craft

  • Deliver pixel-perfect UI with strong hierarchy, spacing, grid systems, and visual detailing.
  • Craft purposeful micro-interactions and micro-animations that improve clarity and delight.
  • Maintain consistency with the design system while pushing visual quality forward.

Prototyping & Experimentation

  • Build high-fidelity prototypes showcasing complex interactions and behaviors.
  • Run quick validation cycles to refine decisions based on feedback.

Collaboration

  • Learn to balance business goals, user needs, and engineering constraints, with input from senior designers and PMs.
  • Communicate concepts clearly to PMs, engineers, and stakeholders at the squad level.
  • Translate complex ideas into simple, digestible visual representations.
  • Actively seek and apply feedback from senior designers to sharpen craft and judgment.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in design, HCI, Human Factors Engineering, Product Design, Communication Design, Behavioral Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI Design with strong visual and interaction work.
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft and emerging systems-level thinking.
  • Experience designing for both web and mobile platforms.
  • Strong expertise in visual hierarchy, layout systems, and working with a design system.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility principles and WCAG guidelines.
  • Solid grounding in UX fundamentals, cognitive load reduction, and heuristics.
  • Good communication and storytelling skills.
  • Advanced Figma proficiency, including components, variants, auto-layout, variables, and Dev Mode / Code Connect.
  • Experience designing for cross-platform environments (iOS, Android, Web).

Preferred/Good to have

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted design or development tools (e.g. AI-assisted Figma workflows, code-generation copilots, or similar) and interest in applying them to design system workflows.
  • Experience creating micro-interactions / animations.
  • Hands-on coding experience (a plus, not required).
