  • Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety and accreditation activities
  • Foster a positive team culture built on collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Be part of an exciting ED expansion that will help shape the future of emergency care in Wyndham

What you’ll bring:

You’re a passionate and resilient nursing leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.  You enjoy supporting others, driving high standards of clinical practice and contributing to a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Postgraduate qualification in Critical Care, Emergency Nursing or a related specialty
  • Minimum five years’ experience in acute and/or Emergency Department nursing
  • Demonstrated leadership experience or experience acting in a senior nursing role

  • Strong decision-making and problem solving skills in complex clinical environments
  • Demonstrated ability to support staff, coordinate patient flow and manage competing priorities
  • Commitment to patient-centred care, quality improvement and clinical excellence
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Support Nurse or equivalent leadership role
  • Experience participating in quality improvement, education or workforce initiatives

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or be in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
