Associate Manager, Operations

Job requirements

Experience Range: 5 to 8 years of experience in project management and operations, including hands-on leadership of complex projects utilizing industry-standard methodologies Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee multiple project teams to ensure timely achievement of operational objectives and project milestones
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize MS Project Plans to track progress, allocate resources, and forecast project outcomes
  • Apply Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, and risks, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize impact
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project goals with organizational strategy and requirements
  • Prepare and deliver detailed project status reports, metrics, and insights to senior management and stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices and standards in project management
  • Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance
  • Required Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Project Plan for scheduling and resource management
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and SAFe
  • Experience with project management frameworks such as PMP and CSM
  • Expertise in risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Proficient in project budgeting and financial tracking
  • Ability to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational excellence
  • Experience with process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana)
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise transformation projects
  • Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles
  • Familiarity with ITIL or similar operational frameworks
  • Background in managing remote or distributed teams
  • Expertise in change management processes
  • Ability to leverage data analytics for operational decision-making
  • Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
