Job Summary

As an Associate IT Analyst (Platforms and Systems) you will focus on the evolution of IT infrastructure through automation-first principles. You will lead the transition from server management to a software-defined infrastructure.

Job Description

We are looking for an Associate IT Analyst (Platforms and Systems) who will ensure high availability for critical Financial Applications while maintaining a robust, secure, and self-healing environment. This position will be full-time and hybrid at Mandaluyong City.


The ideal candidate should have excellent technical skills, initiative, and excellent communication skills. Candidates must be flexible to work varying hours to support global markets, be willing to travel when necessary and be capable of adapting to an ever-changing environment.

What You'll Do

  • Architect and maintain Windows Server (2019/2022) environments using IaC tools like Powershell or Ansible or Python to ensure consistent, repeatable deployments

  • Manage and secure unified identity across on-premises Active Directory and Azure AD implementing automated lifecycle management for different active directory technologies

  • Apply patches, updates, and security configurations to maintain system integrity by using different automation techniques and tools

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies

  • Replace repetitive manual tasks with advanced PowerShell and Python scripting to handle automated patching, configuration drift remediation, and system health checks

  • Design and support the middleware layer ensuring 24/7 uptime for core financial systems like Summit, Bloomberg, and Risk Management platforms

  • Work with DBAs to optimize how applications interact with MS SQL and Oracle databases, focusing on performance tuning and automated backups

  • Automated DR test drills and maintain "Infrastructure-as-Code" recovery playbooks to minimize RTO/RPO during outages. Security, Governance & Compliance

  • Apply modern security configurations and hardened OS images via automated configuration management

What You'll Need

Required:

  • 5+ years in Infrastructure Technologies with a proven track record of moving from manual administration to automated operations

  • Technical Stack: OS/Platforms

  • Advanced Windows Server (2016-2022), vSphere/Nutanix AHV, and Azure Administration

  • Networking: Deep understanding of protocols (DNS, DHCP, SSH, SMB) and modern cyber security frameworks

  • Professional proficiency in any tools for ex, PowerShell, Ansible, Python, and Azure DevOps

Preferred:

  • Applications Domain (Optional but Preferred): Familiarity with any applications lifecycle management including install, config and support different technologies such as IIS, Java or WebSphere based applications

  • Soft Skills: Excellent English communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical infrastructure and business requirements

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
