As part of the Capital Markets division within Truist Securities, Inc., the Securitized Products Group (SPG) provides structured debt capital solutions to clients of Truist across ABS (consumer, commercial, and esoteric asset classes), non-agency CMBS, middle-market lending, and CLO markets.

SPG (i) partners with Sales and Trading to place securitized products with institutional investors in the new issue market and (ii) partners with Credit Delivery to originate collateralized credit facilities for our clients, funded by Truist Bank and/or syndicated to other banks and/or institutional investors. SPG collaborates with internal partners including Banking, Sales and Trading, Credit Delivery, Risk, Operations, and Legal to achieve seamless execution, appropriate risk mitigation and strong client experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Develop subject matter expertise and translate knowledge into value added ideas.
2. Demonstrate strong technical skills
3. Manage execution in support of senior originators. 
4. Collaborate with internal partners, including risk, to achieve optimal execution.
5. Mentor and develop analyst teammates.
6. Demonstrate the Truist values
7. Adheres to risk/compliance policies and guidelines

Required Qualifications:

1.    BA/BS degree
2.    Licenses: Series 7, 79, and 63
3.    4 years of related work experience
4.    Strong technical skills including financial analysis, modeling, presentation
5.    Strong interpersonal skills which foster teamwork, trust and accountability
 

Preferred Qualifications

1.    MBA degree, with Finance focus
2.    Prior experience as analyst in financial institution

The annual base salary for this position is $175,000.
