The Opportunity

We are looking for a Technical Publications Engineer to join our team and contribute to the creation, review, and revision of critical aerospace technical documentation.

In this role, you will work closely with engineering data, drawings, and change inputs to develop accurate, clear, and compliant Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMMs).

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who understands aerospace fundamentals, enjoys technical writing, and wants to build a career in aerospace technical publications and documentation engineering.

What You Will Do

  • Create, revise, and review Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMMs).
  • Develop clear, technically accurate assembly, disassembly, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.
  • Interpret and effectively use engineering drawings, specifications, change notices, and other engineering inputs.
  • Analyze change drivers and incorporate engineering changes accurately into technical publications.
  • Ensure technical documentation complies with applicable aerospace technical publication standards and customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Work and Work Instructions for creating and revising technical publications.
  • Review documentation for technical accuracy, completeness, consistency, readability, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to resolve technical queries and documentation gaps.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to technical publication processes, quality, and productivity.
  • Provide guidance and technical training to team members on CMM creation, tools, processes, and applicable standards.

Basic Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering.
  • 1–4 years of relevant experience in Aerospace Technical Publications.
  • Hands-on experience in the creation and/or revision of CMMs, Service Bulletins, and/or AMMs.
  • 1+ Years of Strong aerospace fundamentals and technical publication principles.
  • 1+ Years of Working knowledge of ATA 100, iSpec 2200, and S1000D standards.
  • Experience developing or revising technical procedures and maintenance documentation.
  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and engineering change inputs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, engineering-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ Years of Strong experience in writing Assembly, Disassembly, Inspection, and Repair procedures.
  • 1+ Years of Experience working with aerospace maintenance documentation and publication tools.
  • Knowledge of document configuration, revision control, and change management.
  • 1+ Years of Experience developing Standard Work / Work Instructions for technical publication processes.
  • Ability to train and mentor team members on CMM creation, tools, and technical publication standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to documentation accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical information and communicate it in a clear, structured manner.
