The role helps clients measure, analyze, monitor, and communicate portfolio performance through industry-leading performance, attribution, risk, ESG, fixed income, reporting, and AI-driven analytical capabilities. It retains the senior product expertise and independent ownership required for a complex, business-critical product area, while broader Portfolio Analytics strategy, people leadership, and overall product accountability remain with the Global Head of Portfolio Analytics.

The Team: Portfolio Analytics is a global product team within Capital IQ Pro, working closely with engineering, data, content, AI, platform, commercial, and specialist teams. The team develops analytical capabilities and connected workflows that help investment professionals turn portfolio data into actionable insights.

The Impact: This role shapes capabilities that improve portfolio transparency, investment decision-making, and workflow efficiency for clients across global markets. By connecting Portfolio Analytics insights across Capital IQ Pro and adjacent products, the position helps transform complex portfolio data into scalable, actionable investment intelligence and supports adoption, strategic client engagement, and commercial growth.

What’s in it for you:

  • Own a strategically important, business-critical product area used by investment professionals globally.
  • Shape the evolution of performance, attribution, risk, ESG, fixed income, reporting, dashboard, and AI-driven portfolio insights.
  • Work across product, technology, data, AI, and commercial teams to deliver connected experiences across the Capital IQ Pro ecosystem.
  • Gain direct exposure to clients, specialists, consultants, and market-facing stakeholders while influencing product strategy and adoption.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve core Portfolio Analytics capabilities, including performance measurement, attribution, risk and portfolio analysis, benchmark comparison, ESG, fixed income, reporting, dashboard, and AI-driven insights.
  • Define product vision, requirements, priorities, and roadmap initiatives that enhance portfolio transparency, investment decision-making, and client workflow efficiency.
  • Drive integration of Portfolio Analytics insights, reports, and workflows across Capital IQ Pro and adjacent products, including Dashboard, Fund Analytics, Index Analytics, Screening, and AI experiences.
  • Partner with engineering, data, content, AI, and platform teams to deliver scalable solutions and lead complex cross-functional initiatives across analytics, reporting, data, and platform capabilities.
  • Engage with clients, specialists, consultants, and commercial stakeholders to understand workflow needs, identify opportunities, validate priorities, and support adoption and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Maintain a competitive product offering through continuous enhancement of methodologies, data coverage, reporting experiences, and emerging analytical trends.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 8–10+ years of hands-on experience working with Portfolio Analytics capabilities, products, and client workflows, with deep domain knowledge of investment and portfolio analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of portfolio workflow tools and the Capital IQ Pro platform, including how Portfolio Analytics capabilities connect with broader client workflows and adjacent products.
  • Demonstrated ability to define product strategy, translate client needs into requirements, prioritize roadmaps, and deliver complex analytical products.
  • Experience partnering with engineering, data, AI, platform, commercial, and client-facing teams in a global, cross-functional environment.

Key capabilities:

  • Strategic thinking and sound judgment, with the ability to balance client value, market opportunity, and delivery constraints.
  • Strong ownership and execution skills, with the ability to operate independently in a complex, business-critical product area.
  • Clear, influential communication and stakeholder management across technical, commercial, and senior audiences.
  • Collaborative leadership and the ability to align cross-functional teams around shared priorities and outcomes.
