The team plays a central role in coordinating the strategic activity that enables HR to operate effectively across the business, bringing together change and innovation, people data and insights, talent services, strategic planning, governance, reporting, and other associated oversight activities.

As part of HR Enablement, HR Regulatory Oversight (HRRO) plays a critical role in enabling a globally regulated asset management business to meet its regulatory obligations with confidence. The team provides specialist oversight of personal accountability, fitness and propriety, knowledge and competence, conduct, and regulatory remuneration requirements, supporting employees across the UK, Europe and APAC. Through a focus on consistency, accuracy and regulatory excellence, HRRO helps ensure robust compliance with local requirements while fostering high standards of governance and professional integrity.

Operating across the UK, India and China, the team is evolving into a globally integrated, cross-trained model aligned to key business pillars. This transformation is strengthening the team's regulatory expertise, creating greater resilience and flexibility, and enhancing support for stakeholders around the world. By simplifying and standardising processes, investing in systems and management information, and accelerating knowledge sharing and cross-training, HRRO is building a scalable, future-ready operating model that delivers greater efficiency, insight and value across the organisation.

The role will lead the ongoing evolution of processes, policies, frameworks, controls, systems and management information, delivering sustainable improvements in efficiency, data integrity and organisational oversight to enable high-quality decision-making and strong regulatory compliance.

As a senior leader, the Associate Director will act as a trusted partner to HR, Compliance, Company Secretariat and business stakeholders globally.
