Frostburg State University Athletics Department is accepting applications for a full-time contractual exempt Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach position. The starting Base Annual Salary is approximately $44,948, which is pro-rated based on the contract term.
The following benefits will be available on an annual basis:
- University System of Maryland Tuition Remission program.
- Five (5) days of annual leave
- Specific Holidays
- Three (3) days of sick leave
- May participate in the State Health Insurance programs (medical, prescription and/or dental, etc.) that are available to State employees. Staff working 30 hours or more per week are eligible for the applicable state subsidy for medical and prescription coverage.
FSU boasts 25 varsity sports (11 men/14 women) at the NCAA Division II level that compete in the Mountain East Conference and the East Coast Conference.
Responsibilities: Assist the Head Coach with coaching and supervision of the Women’s Lacrosse Team. Help monitor and advise student-athletes to ensure academic success. Assist in evaluation and recruitment of prospective student-athletes. Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and one year of coaching or other related work experience. Previous competing experience at the collegiate level.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree and/or two years of collegiate coaching experience.
