Job Description
The Assistant Vice President, Talent Management & Organisation Development is a strategic HR leader responsible for shaping enterprise performance, organizational culture, and talent sustainability. This role leads the strategy and execution across Talent Management, Organisation Development, Learning & Development (L&D), as well as Workforce Management. By aligning strategic business goals and people systems, the incumbent will build a future-ready workforce, nurture high-potential leaders including the building of leadership capabilities, drive DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) and inclusive practices, and foster an engaging, high-performance culture across the organization.Talent Management
Develop and execute enterprise talent management framework and strategy to enable a future ready workforce, including:
Identification of top talent across the company
Pipelining of internal and external talent
Talent programs such as early-career pipeline programs, structured rotations, development path
Pathing along management, technical and other relevant tracks
Design and manage succession planning frameworks for critical roles, including development initiatives for high potential (HiPo), leadership and key talent
Monitor talent metrics, workforce trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
Develop leadership framework for the enterprise, including the design & implementation of leadership development programs for key & emerging talent
Drive executive coaching, mentoring and other developmental programs for top talent
Organisation Development
Work closely with business and HRBPs to evaluate organizational structures, operating models, and processes to drive overall effectiveness, efficiency and alignment with strategic goals
Establish change management frameworks to support org transformations, business realignments, and operating model updates
Lead organisation-wide engagement initiatives – employee engagement surveys, focus groups, feedback channels, pulse checks – and facilitate the implementation of related action plans to enhance employee experience and build an inspiring corporate culture
Formulate and champion enterprise programs that will shape a passionate workforce and drive a high-performance culture, including DEI, community impact, human rights, employee engagement, and staff well-being
Learning & Development
Develop and implement an enterprise-wide L&D strategy aligned with organizational priorities and assesses & builds org capabilities for current & future
Create a learning framework that roadmaps the development of employees in line with their job role competency and the company’s values
Design workforce upskilling and reskilling programs, including the use of relevant government grants such as CTC, etc.
Oversee overall learning program management – including training delivery and evaluation, learning budget, external learning vendor relations, etc.
Workforce Management
Develop and implement enterprise workforce planning framework to support building of capacity and capability in line with business goals and growth plans
Evaluate workforce spans and layers, role design, and organizational effectiveness metric
Forecast workforce requirements for current and future needs as part of annual planning across business units
Establish reskilling plans and workforce readiness programs
Develop workforce dashboards and management reports for analysis and decision making
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
15 years of experience in Talent Management, Organizational Development, and Leadership Development.
Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering progressive learning and development programs that align with organizational objectives and address employee capability gaps.
