The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 depending upon experience.

DESCRIPTION:

 

As an Assistant Scheduling Engineer WDF, Inc., you will have the opportunity to:

 

  • Assist with developing project schedules for all phases of the project, from pre-construction through close-out.
  • Collect, verify, and enter schedule progress information, including actual start and finish dates, remaining durations, and percent complete.
  • Assist with updating project schedules and preparing progress and performance reports.
  • Support the Scheduling Manager and project teams in maintaining accurate, timely, and logically sequenced schedules.
  • Coordinate with the Construction, Project Management, Design, Procurement, and Cost Control teams to gather schedule information.
  • Help review subcontractor schedules, short-term look-ahead schedules, and supporting schedule narratives.
  • Assist with creating schedule fragments for Time Impact Analyses, recovery plans, and scenario studies.
  • Support the preparation of preliminary schedule analyses for completed, ongoing, and future work.
  • Participate in pull-planning sessions and schedule review meetings with field teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain scheduling data from change order, procurement, submittal, RFI, billing/requisition, commissioning, and close-out logs.
  • Assist with identifying schedule variances, potential delays, critical-path activities, and upcoming milestones for review by the Scheduling Manager.
  • Prepare meeting materials, schedule reports, charts, and presentations as directed.
  • Support earned value analysis, cost and resource loading, schedule modeling, claims documentation, and other scheduling assignments.
  • Maintain organized schedule files, update logs, and supporting documentation in accordance with project procedures.
  • Perform quality checks on schedule data and promptly communicate incomplete or inconsistent information to the Scheduling Manager.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Working knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling concepts, and project controls fundamentals.
  • Experience with Primavera P6 preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Ability to review project information, organize data, and prepare accurate reports under the direction of the Scheduling Manager.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn schedule development, progress measurement, critical-path analysis, earned value management, and time-impact analysis.
