Job Summary:

The successful candidate will anchor the department’s phonetics, phonology, and language-structure curriculum and maintain an active research program engaging undergraduate and MA students.

Job Description:

The successful applicant is expected to teach courses such as Introduction to Phonetics and Phonology, Phonetics and Phonology, Advanced Phonetics and Phonology, Teaching Pronunciation, English Pedagogical Grammar, Structure of Modern English, Principles of Linguistics for Teachers, and undergraduate and MA-level thesis and capstone projects, along with other electives. Preference will be given to candidates whose work engages second language pronunciation and phonological acquisition, pedagogical grammar and the structure of English, language and multilingualism in immigrant-serving communities, language and disability, psycholinguistics, or signed languages.
