Job Description Summary

We are recruiting two (2) Assistant Professors of Finance to provide high-quality research and teaching in Finance, supporting both Finance and Real Estate majors and a new Financial Planning and Wealth Management minor, as well as to provide service to the profession and university beginning August 2027. The department has particular needs in corporate finance, advanced financial modeling and AI applications, and wealth management.

Job Description

The Department of Finance, with over 400 graduates per year, comprises 19 full-time faculty members in Finance and 3 in Business Legal Studies.  There are over 1,600 students majoring in Finance and approximately 100 students majoring in Real Estate.  The department values high-quality teaching and research. Minimum Qualifications:

Required: Doctorate in Finance or a closely related field by the date of appointment (completed by December 31, 2026, for appointment to a second year). 

Consideration may be given to candidates with demonstrated quality collegiate teaching experience and demonstrated research potential.
