About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven, tech-savvy Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business strategy, product innovation, and technical execution in the insurance technology space. The ideal candidate will combine deep domain knowledge in insurance operations, hands-on experience with payment systems, and a practical understanding of AI/ML applications to drive intelligent, scalable solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis for insurance technology initiatives, with deep focus on core insurance workflows (e.g., underwriting, policy administration, claims processing, renewal, and cancellation),
  • integrated with payment systems (premium collection, auto-debit, refunds, multi-channel payment gateways, reconciliation).
  • Collaborate closely with Business User, engineering, operations, and external partners (e.g., banks, payment processors, fintech platforms) to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, gather user requirements, and document detailed business cases, user stories, process flows (BPMN), and functional specifications (PRD).
  • Drive the integration and implementation of AI/ML solutions in insurance operations
  • Define and monitor KPIs and success metrics to support data-driven decision-making and continuous process optimization.
  • Support UAT, system testing, go-live coordination, and post-launch evaluation to ensure quality and user adoption.
  • Other tasks team leader assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related technical field.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst, with 3+ years in the insurance industry (life, health, property & casualty, or digital insurance).
  • Proven experience in payment systems (e.g., premium payment processing, auto-debit, refund workflows, payment gateway integration, settlement reconciliation).
  • Hands-on involvement in AI/ML projects — including requirement scoping, use case definition, model evaluation, and business integration.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, data flows, and integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Jira, Confluence, and documentation standards.
  • Comfortable working with technical teams and translating business needs into technical specifications.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and user-centric design thinking.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes in complex, fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with InsurTech platforms, digital insurance ecosystems, or embedded finance.
  • Exposure to AI tools (e.g., NLP, computer vision, predictive modeling) in insurance or financial services.
