The Renaissance Engineering Programme is NTU’s signature programme that aims to nurture engineering leaders with an entrepreneurial spirit to serve society. The programme covers a broad spectrum of multidisciplinary subjects bridging engineering, business and humanities.

This position plays a key role in managing the undergraduate academic and examination matters under REP. It will also play a pivotal role in providing administrative support for overseas exchange to students including pre-departure matters and professional attachment matters. The position is also required to support the annual admission interview exercise, participate in major outreach events and activities and work closely with the student club in social media publicity.

1.   Provide Academic Support for Undergraduate Degree

• Provide quality administrative services to both REP faculty and students to ensure a smooth delivery of the undergraduate programme including handling class scheduling.

• Manage the administration of course registration activities, class time-tabling including liaison with students.

• Work closely with the Engineering Schools and College of Computing and Data Science on the timetabling for the core and electives.

• Organise town halls and prepare notes of meetings and provide support for department meetings.

• Assist in the examination scheduling and provide support where necessary.

• Assist in the updating of students’ records.

2.   Provide Administrative Support for Students on Overseas Exchange

• Assist with the administrative support for overseas exchange programme related to pre-departure.

• Assist with post exchange support including queries and surveys.

• Provide academic and administrative support including assigning supervisors for students’ professional attachment.

• Track and update student records related to professional attachment.

3.    Provide Administrative Support for Annual Admissions Exercise and Outreach Activities

• Provide administrative support for the annual admissions exercise such as interviews scheduling and engaging applicants post admission interviews and attend to their queries.

• Provide administrative support for external student outreach events and internal student engagement activities.

• Work closely with the student club in social media publicity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration or equivalent.

• Prior experience in managing undergraduate programme in an institute of higher learning.

• Good knowledge and shows some interest in engineering subjects.

• 3-5 years of relevant working experience preferably in a tertiary institution.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with cultural sensitivity towards staff and students of different cultural backgrounds.

• Meticulous, resourceful and possess excellent organisational and project management skills and be able to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
