Director, Asia Manufacturing Quality

Job Description:

The Director, Asia Manufacturing Quality is responsible for leading manufacturing quality across Entegris manufacturing sites in Asia and translating the global manufacturing quality strategy into consistent regional execution. This role collaborates across the organization to drive operational excellence, reduce risk, strengthen process capability, and improve customer satisfaction throughout the Asia manufacturing footprint.

The Director, Asia Manufacturing Quality partners with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Product Development, Customer Quality, Product Quality, and Quality Systems teams to build a culture of quality ownership and continuous improvement. This leader is accountable for consistent implementation of global quality standards, compliance with applicable regulatory, industry, and customer requirements, and the development of high-performing site quality organizations across the region.

What You'll Do:

·   Execute the global manufacturing quality strategy across Asia in alignment with business goals and customer expectations.

·   Lead manufacturing quality performance across multiple sites and countries within the Asia region.

·   Ensure consistent implementation of global quality standards, policies, procedures, and best practices.

·   Partner with site and regional Operations leaders to establish quality roadmaps, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

·   Drive reductions in defects, scrap, rework, cost of poor quality (COPQ), customer complaints, and manufacturing escapes.

·   Improve process capability, product conformity, yield, and overall manufacturing performance.

·   Lead regional quality transformation and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen operational excellence.

·   Ensure disciplined root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action for significant quality issues.

·   Promote effective use of SPC, MSA, FMEA, control plans, APQP, PPAP, 8D, A3, and DMAIC methodologies.

·   Serve as the regional escalation leader for significant manufacturing quality risks and events.

·   Partner with Customer Quality and Product Quality teams to resolve customer issues and strengthen customer confidence.

·   Develop site quality leaders, strengthen technical capability, and build succession plans across the region.

·   Foster a culture of quality ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

·   Travel requirements will be a minimum of 25%.

What We Seek:

·   Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field required.

·   10+ years of progressive manufacturing and quality leadership experience.

·   5+ years leading multi-site or regional quality organizations.

·   Demonstrated success implementing quality systems and driving operational improvements in complex manufacturing environments.

·   Experience working across multiple countries and cultures within Asia.

·   Experience supporting global customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

·   Executive presence and strong stakeholder management capabilities.

·   Demonstrated experience developing talent and building teams across multiple sites.

·   Organizational transformation leadership and change management capability.

·   Manufacturing process optimization leadership and strong business acumen.
