This position reports to:
Production Supervisor__
The work model for the role is: Onsite, Flowery Branch, GA
Your role and responsibilities:
- Manufacture AC motor stators by performing winding, coil wrapping, insulating, inserting, connecting, lashing, brazing, and electrical testing according to engineering specifications and customer requirements.
- Operate and set up production equipment including winding and insertion machines, while following established work instructions and production standards.
- Perform quality and technical checks by reading blueprints, work orders, and routing documents, using measuring tools and gauges, and applying basic math skills to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment by using required PPE, safely operating tools and lifting equipment, and performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods in a factory setting.
Qualifications for the role:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 Year of industrial or military experience, or vocational/technical education; motor manufacturing experience preferred. Prior leadership experience preferred with the ability to set high performance standards for self and others.
- Adaptability and organization: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to change, with a willingness to cross-train and maintain a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Technical and operational proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must pass a background and drug screen and have valid U.S. work authorization. Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English is essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
- Regular attendance and availability for overtime are essential job functions.
