Business Development & Commercial Performance

  • Analyse regional performance to identify opportunities, implement action plans, and drive achievement of sales performance and KPI targets across all stores.
  • Partner with the Senior Commercial Manager and Store Managers to maximise commercial outcomes, ensuring each store delivers against sales, conversion, aged stock, category performance, wage to sales targets and other set KPI’s
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and product performance, providing regular insights and recommendations to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Manage sell‑through and product productivity by collaborating with Merchandise & planning team to optimise stock availability and assortment relevance.

 

Team Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers to build high‑performing teams with strong commercial acumen and operational excellence.
  • Set clear performance expectations across financial KPIs, inventory management, loss prevention, visual merchandising, and people management.
  • Foster a positive, high‑energy team culture that promotes collaboration, accountability, and strong customer service standards.
  • Ensure effective onboarding, ongoing training, and in‑store follow‑up to reinforce product knowledge, brand standards, and operational capability.
  • Conduct regular store briefings to align teams on priorities, motivate performance, and communicate business objectives.
  • Act as the escalation point for all operational, people, and customer issues within the region.
  • Oversee payroll‑related tasks and ensure labour planning supports commercial needs.

 

Client Relationship Management (CRM)

  • Drive a strong clienteling culture across all stores, coaching Store Managers to build long‑term customer relationships that increase loyalty and sales.
  • Support the planning and execution of in‑store events and promotional activities in partnership with merchandising and PR teams to enhance customer engagement and drive traffic.

 

Store Operations & Standards

  • Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, coach teams, and ensure each location is positioned for current and future growth.
  • Support Store Managers to maintain strong operational standards, including stockroom organisation, inventory accuracy, shrinkage control, and compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation consistently meet brand expectations, partnering closely with the Visual Merchandiser to execute directives effectively.
  • Manage operational costs across the region, ensuring budgets are adhered to and resources are used efficiently to maximise profitability.

 

Work, Health and Safety

  • Ensure work environment is free from risk to health by identifying, assessing and controlling hazards.
  • Report all work-related hazards and incidents
  • Complete all required WHS training
  • Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Active support of the company injury management program
