Architect

Parsons is looking for a highly committed and diligent Architect to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design Delivery: Contribute to architectural design activities across project phases, from concept development through to detailed design, ensuring alignment with client requirements and overall project objectives.
• Regulatory Compliance: Apply local building codes, safety regulations, and relevant design standards, with strong working knowledge of Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, DEWA, and applicable design codes.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to support the integration of design intent with technical specifications and practical site implementation.
• Quality Review: Assist in reviewing architectural documentation to check compliance with quality standards and help identify any design issues or risks that could affect project delivery.
• Team Support: Provide support to junior team members where appropriate, sharing knowledge and contributing to a collaborative and constructive studio environment.
• Industry Awareness: Stay up to date with developments in architecture, sustainability, and construction technologies, and help incorporate relevant best practices and innovative ideas into project work.
• BIM and Revit: Use Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodologies and Revit software to produce and coordinate accurate design models and drawings with other disciplines.
• Discipline Coordination: Support the coordination of sub‑consultant packages and other internal disciplines to ensure consistency and integration of architectural design across the project.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering from a recognized university.
• Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of architectural experience, within a reputable architectural firm in the UAE.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Must be fluent in AutoCAD.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Communication: Proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
• Stakeholders & Authorities: experience working with Authorities including Dubai Municipality, RTA, Trakhees and DDA to secure Building Permits / NOCs is highly desirable.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to overcoming design challenges and implementing effective solutions.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with a commitment to delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
