We are looking for a highly experienced Architect with 12–15 years of experience to lead the architecture and design of scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions for a B2B SaaS environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of enterprise software architecture, SaaS platforms, distributed systems, and modern cloud technologies.

You will work closely with engineering, product, business, and other stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust technical architectures. This role requires strong technical leadership, architectural decision-making, and the ability to build solutions that support scalability, reliability, security, and long-term product growth.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall architecture for scalable B2B SaaS products and platforms.
• Design highly available, secure, reliable, and maintainable systems capable of supporting enterprise customers.
• Translate business and product requirements into scalable technical solutions and architecture blueprints.
• Evaluate existing systems and identify opportunities for modernization, optimization, and architectural improvements.
• Establish architecture standards, design principles, technology guidelines, and best practices across engineering teams.
• Design and oversee distributed systems, microservices, APIs, integrations, and cloud-based applications.
• Ensure SaaS architecture supports multi-tenancy, data isolation, configurability, scalability, and enterprise-grade security.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Leaders, DevOps, Security, QA, and Business stakeholders to align technology strategy with business objectives.
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, design reviews, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Identify technology risks and provide appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Assess and recommend technologies, frameworks, platforms, and architectural patterns based on business and technical requirements.
• Guide engineering teams in implementing architectural decisions and resolving complex technical challenges.
• Ensure solutions meet requirements related to performance, availability, observability, security, compliance, and disaster recovery.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and long-term architecture strategy for B2B SaaS products.
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leads, promoting strong engineering and architecture practices.

Must-Have Skills

• 12–15 years of overall experience in software engineering and architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience designing B2B SaaS platforms and enterprise applications.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience designing scalable multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
• Strong understanding of system scalability, high availability, performance optimization, security, and reliability.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of databases, caching, messaging systems, API gateways, and integration architectures.
• Experience defining technical standards and making architecture-level technology decisions.
• Strong understanding of modern software development methodologies, CI/CD, DevOps, and observability.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience working with large-scale enterprise customers.
• Exposure to SaaS security, compliance, identity management, and data governance.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, Kubernetes, containers, and serverless technologies.
• Knowledge of domain-driven design and architecture governance.
• Experience leading architecture transformation or modernization initiatives.
