Summary:
The IAM Engineer - Senior serves as an Identity and Access Management (IAM) engineer for the bank. Leads delivery and implementation of Role Based Access Controls (RBAC) for applications, infrastructure and business groups. Works with Portfolio Manager to deliver IAM projects and key milestones. Creates automated processes to deploy RBAC framework. Works closely with Infrastructure and application teams to define/document roles, resource groups, user accounts, and entitlements for approved projects.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Leads delivery and implementation of IAM technologies across the bank
- Develop and support SailPoint IIQ application onboarding integrations
- Configure connectors, workflows, rules, and access review capabilities
- Partner with application teams to define onboarding requirements and access models
- Support testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization of onboarding solutions. Connectors Workflows Rules & scripts (Beanshell/Java) Certification campaigns and access reviews Access certifications Policy enforcement
- Ensure that Huntington’s identity & access management services are designed to be compliant with security and privacy standards and other industry standards and practices
- Consult with business units when implementing access for new systems
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Information Security, specifically in IAM.
- 1+ years of experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ), or other IAM processes
- 1+ years of experience with Java, Beanshell, or similar scripting languages.
- High School diploma
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ)
- Knowledge of application onboarding, provisioning, and access governance
- Experience with Java, Beanshell, APIs, file-based integrations, or database connectivity.
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.
- Application onboarding/integration development
- REST/SOAP APIs, file-based integrations, and database connectivity
- SailPoint connectors and custom connector development
- Azure AD / Active Directory integrations
- ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) for access requests
- Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CISM
- Active Directory administration skills, including AD monitoring, troubleshooting, and Group Policy Management
- Demonstrated implementation of Privileged Access Management (PAM) or Privileged Identity Management (PIM) concepts and processes
- Expert with user provisioning, system authorization, PKI, MFA, AAA solutions, and password vaulting systems and services
- Familiarity with the standards for SSO technologies such as SAML2, OAuth2
