Position Requirements

Description
We are currently seeking a night float anesthesiologist to join our growing anesthesia practice in Syracuse, NY. Our group provides anesthesia services at Crouse Health Hospital. Our anesthesiologists and CRNAs work together in a care team model.

Case Assignments & Schedule
• Cardiac, major vascular, orthopedics, obstetrics, neurosurgery, general surgery, urology, and gynecology
• Schedule: 26 weeks on, 26 weeks off (7p-7a)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
• MD or DO from an accredited institution 
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency 
• Board Eligible or Board Certified  
• Current medical licensure 
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
