Team Overview

The Sales Operations team supports commercial growth by optimizing sales processes, reporting, forecasting, billing support, and operational excellence across the business. The team partners closely with Sales, Finance, and Customer Operations to drive revenue performance and enhance the customer experience. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

  • Support sales operations activities, including billing processes, invoice reviews, and documentation management, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
  • Prepare, maintain, and validate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and revenue tracking in partnership with Sales leadership and Finance teams.
  • Develop and maintain sales, financial, and operational reports that provide insights to support business decisions and revenue growth objectives.
  • Manage and improve sales databases, dashboards, and reporting tools to enhance data visibility and operational efficiency.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for contract management, sales processes, and customer-related activities.
  • Support customer service and product-related inquiries through Salesforce, helping ensure a positive customer experience and timely issue resolution.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and other internal teams to resolve billing, accounts receivable, and operational issues.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and proactively address operational risks and obstacles that could impact business performance.
  • Support ad hoc analysis, reporting requests, and business initiatives to help drive commercial success.
  • Maintain high levels of organization while managing multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating strong analytical and operational capabilities.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Commercial Support, Financial Analysis, Billing Operations, or similar functions supporting revenue-generating teams.
  • Experience working with billing processes, commercial reporting, and operational support activities to ensure efficient business execution.
  • Strong analytical experience using data to identify trends, support decision-making, and improve operational performance.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, Operations, and Customer Support, to drive business outcomes.

Required Technical Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, dashboards, macros, automation, and data analysis capabilities.
  • Experience using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platforms such as Salesforce for opportunity tracking, customer support, and sales reporting.
  • Knowledge of Power BI (Business Intelligence) or similar analytics and reporting tools for dashboard creation and performance analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, for reporting, presentations, and business communication.
  • Experience working with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial performance reporting tools.
