The Pratt & Whitney Quality & Process Engineering (Q&PE) organization is seeking an energetic, entry level contributor to support the East Hartford Q&PE Core Laboratory Group.  The Q&PE Core Laboratory Group is responsible for chemical, mechanical, and metallurgical testing for validation to blueprint and specification requirements of various aerospace raw materials and finished parts.

What You Will Do

• Perform metallurgical analyses related to the evaluation of aerospace materials for compliance to standards.
• Provide clear, concise, and accurate lab reports.
• Interact effectively with customers at all levels.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or other Engineering degree with minor in Metallurgy or Materials Science

Qualifications We Prefer

• Prior metallurgical laboratory experience, and understanding of lab protocols is a plus.  
• Prior RTX internship, co-op or work experience
• Minimum 3.0 GPA

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
