About this AI/Gen AI Solution Architect Expert role at DXC Technology
Job Description:
DXC Technology is looking for an AI/Gen AI Solution Architect Expert to join the Analytics Offering. DXC Analytics is focused on providing customers with innovative solutions and high added value in the following areas: Analytics Solutions and Services, Big Data Platforms, Information Governance, Business Intelligence & Data Management, Artificial Intelligence and IoT Analytics. The role owns the end-to-end technical architecture of AI solutions, guiding technology choices and acting as the key technical reference point for clients and delivery teams.
Responsibilities
Design AI solutions by collaborating with clients to understand their business requirements and challenges.
Define the technical architecture of AI solutions, ensuring scalability, security and maintainability.
Lead the development and implementation of AI solutions, including LLM, machine learning models, natural language processing, and computer vision applications.
Guide technology choices and validation solutions proposed by the delivery team.
Produce and maintain architectural documentation (diagrams, ADRs, design docs).
Work closely with the sales team to support presales activities, including creating technical proposals, presenting solutions to clients and providing guidance on implementation strategies.
Act as the technical interface with clients for the definition of non-functional requirements and solution validation.
Provide cross-project technical support on AI/Gen AI architecture topics.
Stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in the AI field, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation in our solutions.
Contribute to the hiring process through technical interviews.
Requirements
Proven experience in designing and developing AI solutions
Strong expertise in GenAI development methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Advanced architecture expertise, with the ability to design end-to-end solutions and evaluate technical trade-offs (performance, cost, security).
Strong expertise in multi-agent architecture and agent-to-agent collaboration patterns (A2A, MCP).
Experience with machine learning frameworks and tools.
Problem-solving skills applied to complex, non-standard solutions.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Continuous update on emerging AI technologies and architecture patterns.
Nice to Have
Knowledge or experience in financial services projects and consulting firms.
Architecture certifications (e.g. AWS/Azure AI or Solution Architect, Databricks).
Experience in multi-project/multi-client environments.
Location: Milan with smart working possibility.

The position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €38.000
Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement (CBA: Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per l'industria metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti) and based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including responsibility, experience and skills.
