About this AI-Forward Recruiter / Talent Engineer role at ReWorks Solutions

About ReWorks Solutions
ReWorks Solutions supports international clients by connecting them with exceptional talent across multiple industries. Operating in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment, we continuously look for smarter ways to improve our processes, candidate experience, and delivery outcomes.
We believe the future of recruitment combines the efficiency of technology with the human touch that makes great hiring possible.
About the Role
We’re looking for an AI-Forward Recruiter / Talent Engineer who understands recruitment inside out and knows how to use AI, automation, and technology to transform how recruitment gets done.
This is not a traditional recruiter role, nor is it a position focused on recruiting AI professionals. Instead, you’ll combine practical recruitment experience with technical curiosity and hands-on automation skills to build smarter, more efficient recruitment workflows.
From automating application screening and candidate communication to improving video screening, sourcing workflows, and recruitment reporting, you’ll identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve candidate quality, and help our teams deliver better results.
We’re looking for someone who doesn't just use AI tools but understands how to connect them, build workflows around them, test their effectiveness, and turn ideas into practical solutions.

3. AI-Assisted Video Screening
- Develop workflows for candidate video invitations, reminders, completion tracking, and follow-ups.
- Prevent duplicate invitations and improve visibility across video screening pipelines.
- Explore AI-powered transcription and structured assessment tools.
- Develop client-specific assessment rubrics focused on job-relevant communication, comprehension, and response quality.

- Ensure AI-generated assessments are reviewed by recruitment professionals and do not make final hiring decisions.
4. Sourcing and Talent Pipeline Optimization
- Collaborate with sourcing teams to improve candidate discovery, qualification, and pipeline management.
- Translate client briefs into structured sourcing criteria, Boolean searches, and screening frameworks.
- Explore AI-powered talent discovery, research, and talent-mapping tools.

6. Recruitment Analytics and Reporting
- Develop dashboards and reporting workflows to provide visibility into recruitment performance.
- Track application volumes, screening outcomes, candidate conversion rates, pipeline movement, and turnaround times.
- Measure the effectiveness, accuracy, and efficiency of AI-driven workflows.
- Identify recurring bottlenecks and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Help recruitment leadership make informed decisions around capacity, quality, and operational performance.
7. Continuous Improvement and Team Enablement

- Understanding of candidate confidentiality, data protection, and responsible AI implementation.
Highly Advantageous

- Knowledge of Python, Google Apps Script, or AI-assisted coding.
- Experience building AI agents or multi-step automated workflows.
- Exposure to video transcription, automated interviewing, or candidate assessment technologies.
- Experience with Zoho, Workable, or similar recruitment platforms.
- Familiarity with recruitment dashboards, automated reporting, and data visualization.
- Experience supporting international clients and offshore recruitment operations.
- Knowledge of POPIA, GDPR, and responsible AI practices in recruitment.
What Success Looks Like
- Recruitment teams spend less time on repetitive administrative tasks and more time engaging with quality candidates.
- High application volumes are managed more efficiently without compromising screening standards.
- AI-driven workflows are reliable, documented, measurable, and adopted by the team.
- Candidate communication and screening processes become faster and more consistent.
- Recruitment bottlenecks are identified and addressed through practical technology solutions.
- AI supports better recruitment decisions while human judgment remains central to candidate evaluation.
Who Will Thrive in This Role?
You’re naturally curious about technology and constantly looking for ways to improve how things work. You enjoy solving problems, experimenting with new tools, and building solutions rather than simply identifying what needs to change.
You understand that successful recruitment automation requires more than technology alone. It requires a solid understanding of recruitment, candidate experience, client expectations, and the importance of human judgment.
If you’re a recruiter or sourcer who has developed strong automation skills—or a recruitment technology enthusiast with hands-on recruitment experience—and you’re excited to help shape the future of talent delivery, we’d love to hear from you.
