The Mortgage Banking Producer is responsible for originating commercial real estate debt opportunities, developing new client relationships, and expanding existing client partnerships. The producer will source financing opportunities across agency, life company, CMBS, bank, and other capital sources while managing transactions from initial engagement through closing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time.

• Extensive understanding and experience in commercial real estate and/or commercial real estate finance.
• Proactively identify and generate new client relationships nationwide through networking, cold calling, referrals and attending top industry conferences.
• Work with Grandbridge’s Underwriting teams to review mortgage application process with clients and review documentation as necessary.
• Structure multifamily by providing debt and equity financing solutions.
• Negotiate mortgage loan terms with borrowers.
• Lead transaction through full loan process from identification of loan through screening, underwriting, and closing and servicing while providing a top customer service experience to borrowers.
• Develop, foster, and maintain strong relationships with multifamily owners and developers.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, or equivalent education and related training.
• 5+ years of commercial real estate lending, mortgage banking, brokerage, or capital markets experience.
• Strong computer skills; including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Understand the physical aspects of all commercial property types, typical real estate lending parameters, interest rate structures, and tests of reasonableness.
• Demonstrated production history and existing industry relationships.
• Strong financial analysis and real estate underwriting knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Existing network of commercial real estate owners, developers, and investors.
• Established annual production volume exceeding $100 million.
• Experience with agency lending (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac), life company placements, CMBS, and bank financing.

This position is paid solely on commissions based on the applicable standard commission rate and terms, which may include a salary draw.

Additional incentive pay is available for this position.
