Our Company

At AssuranceAmerica, we are more than a unique blend of insurance assets. We believe in creating a culture where every associate can learn and grow. We strive to create a work environment to meet associate needs and we are determined to achieve excellence in everything we do.

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team in a company that is a leader in the non-standard auto insurance space and functions with a small company, entrepreneurial style. This position will require someone with an understanding that one needs to have a “roll up your sleeves” attitude to help make things happen.

Position Summary

The Agency Development & Experience Consultant 1 (ADEC 1) is a highly visible individual contributor responsible for developing agency capabilities, strengthening agency relationships, and creating meaningful experiences that elevate how the organization shows up in the marketplace.

The ADEC 1 represents AssuranceAmerica to our agency partners and is the face of the AssuranceAmerica Academy.

This role brings together agency development, community engagement, convention experiences, training, and facilitation to support agency growth and strengthen long-term partnerships.

The Consultant serves as a strategic partner, facilitator, and brand ambassador—working across the organization to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and bring ideas to life.

This role is designed for an individual who can move seamlessly from the field to the stage and from strategy to execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with agencies, Sales, National Accounts, and internal teams to identify development opportunities that support agency capability growth, engagement, and profitable business results.
  • Design and deliver impactful training programs, workshops, and development experiences tailored to agency partners, sales professionals, and agency-facing teams.
  • Build authentic, relationship-driven connections with agency partners and local communities to strengthen engagement, visibility, and long-term partnerships.
  • Create and execute innovative community initiatives, grassroots events, festivals, and agency engagement experiences that are meaningful, memorable, and scalable across markets.
  • Gather insights from agencies, sales teams, and the field to identify emerging needs and translate feedback into actionable development and experience strategies.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute industry conventions and company events, ensuring a cohesive, elevated, and engaging organizational presence.
  • Prepare and coach convention attendees and internal representatives to effectively engage agency partners and professionally represent the organization.
  • Serve as a confident and engaging speaker, facilitator, emcee, or panel moderator for agency meetings, conventions, trainings, and company events.
  • Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, using storytelling, audience engagement, and experiential learning techniques to deliver clear and compelling messages.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen, creative thinking, and an agency-centered mindset to develop innovative approaches that enhance agency experience, strengthen relationships, and support long-term business growth.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Communications, Marketing, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in agency development, sales training, business development, learning & development, event marketing, insurance operations, or a related agency-facing role.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish with the ability to confidently present, facilitate, and communicate professionally in both languages.
  • Experience delivering presentations, workshops, training sessions, or facilitated learning experiences to professional audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with external partners, customers, or agencies.
  • Experience coordinating events, community engagement initiatives, conventions, trade shows, or customer-facing experiences.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information into engaging, audience-appropriate messaging.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, follow-through, and execution.
  • Ability to travel regularly, including overnight and weekend travel, for agency visits, conventions, and company events.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams) and virtual presentation platforms.
