Advanced Manufacturing Engineer ME/Machining engineer


Objetivos generales del puesto:


Planifica, desarrolla, implementa y optimiza procesos de maquinado para garantizar una manufactura segura, eficiente y rentable, asegurando el cumplimiento de los requisitos de calidad, productividad, costo y entrega. Lidera la introducción de nuevos productos, tecnologías y mejores prácticas de manufactura mediante la selección y optimización de equipos, herramientas, parámetros de proceso y estrategias de mejora continua.

Impulsa la excelencia operativa de los procesos de maquinado a través del diseño, implementación y mejora continua de sistemas de manufactura que contribuyan a la seguridad, la calidad, la productividad y la competitividad del negocio. Colabora con equipos multifuncionales para identificar oportunidades de mejora, resolver problemas técnicos y asegurar el cumplimiento de los objetivos operativos.


Perfil del puesto y competencias necesarias:


  • Escolaridad: Ingeniería Mecánica, Industrial o carrera relacionada.
  • Años de experiencia: 3 a 5 años.
  • Conocimientos: Machining
  • Habilidad y experiencia para administrar proyectos.
  • Habilidades técnicas: Procesos de mecanizado automáticos. Habilidad para dibujar en Solidworks AutoCAD
  • Idioma: Español e Inglés.

  • Conocimientos: Manufactura, Ingeniería o Mantenimiento,

Funciones y principales responsabilidades:


  • Diseña, desarrolla e implementa procesos de maquinado para nuevos productos y cambios de ingeniería.
  • Define y selecciona maquinaria, herramentales, fixtures y equipos auxiliares para cumplir los requisitos de producción y calidad.
  • Establece parámetros de proceso, incluyendo velocidades, avances, profundidades de corte y tiempos de ciclo, para optimizar el desempeño de manufactura.
  • Lidera la introducción de nuevos productos (NPI), asegurando el cumplimiento de los objetivos de calidad, costo y lanzamiento.
  • Desarrolla y valida procesos mediante pruebas de capacidad, estudios de repetibilidad y análisis estadísticos.
  • Elabora y mantiene documentación técnica, incluyendo instrucciones de trabajo, hojas de proceso, PFMEA, planes de control y diagramas de flujo.
  • Gestiona proyectos de mejora continua enfocados en la reducción de desperdicios, el incremento de la productividad y la optimización de costos.
  • Analiza y mejora indicadores clave de manufactura, tales como OEE, scrap, tiempos muertos, rendimiento y utilización de equipos.
  • Implementa soluciones de automatización y digitalización para incrementar la eficiencia y reducir la variación de los procesos.
  • Brinda soporte técnico a las áreas de Producción, Calidad y Mantenimiento para resolver problemas relacionados con los procesos de maquinado.
  • Lidera análisis de causa raíz y acciones correctivas utilizando metodologías como 8D, A3, 5 Why's e Ishikawa.
  • Participa en actividades APQP y PPAP, asegurando que los procesos cumplan con los requisitos del cliente.
  • Coordina la instalación, puesta en marcha y validación de nuevos equipos y líneas de manufactura.
  • Asegura el cumplimiento de los estándares de seguridad, ergonomía, calidad y medio ambiente aplicables a las operaciones de maquinado.
  • Capacita y desarrolla al personal operativo y técnico en mejores prácticas de manufactura, nuevos procesos y tecnologías de maquinado.

Office First Hybrid Work Arrangements:


This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three day per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate and office first mindset, which is the understanding that teams will collaborate in-person and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs. You will have an opportunity to work with your teams and leader to determine when you should be in office to drive meaningful connection and to best serve our customers
