About this Administration Support Officer role at Quality People
Our client URGENTLY requires a Administration Support Officer for 3 months + Contracts on the Gold Coast.
The Admin Support Officer will provide support to engineering, professional and technical staff. You will be required to utilise a broad range of computer programs and information management systems to support timely and effective service delivery while ensuring compliance with appropriate legislation, organisational policies and procedures.
Skills and Experience required includes:
- Provide high level administrative support to engineers and technical staff, including coordination of team meetings, taking and distributing minutes, documents and reports, establishing and maintaining spreadsheets and registers and providing timely information, updates and presentations as required.
- Provide administrative support to ensure the delivery of a range of activities associated with the assessment and approval of Traffic Control Permits, Road Corridor Permits, Development Applications and Property Searches.
- Utilise a variety of computer systems such as Electronic Development Application Management (eDAM), Corridor Management Work Assignment System, Document Management System (DMS), the Microsoft Office suite of programs and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
- Provide effective customer service, develop and maintain relationships and liaise with various internal and external stakeholders.
Government experience would be highly advantageous.
