About this PMO Project Manager role at Quality People
Our client URGENTLY requires a PMO Project Manager for 12 months+ Contracts in Darwin.
The PMO Project Manager will be accountable for ensuring the successful management and delivery of high value, highly complex business systems projects focusing on solution design, delivery and implementation. This role will require consultation and coordination with all stakeholders and subject matter experts to implement business requirements and priorities to deliver solutions which achieve agreed business outcomes.
Skills and Experience required includes:
- High level leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to take a lead role across business, vendor and project stakeholders.
- High level project management skills, knowledge and experience in project management methodologies, techniques and frameworks, with emphasis on strong project planning and control, risk and issue management.
- Demonstrated track record in providing leadership in matters of governance and probity, strategic and business planning, resolving complex risks and issues and the successful delivery of agreed business priorities and objectives.
- Proven ability to effectively support change management to integrate new ICT capabilities with organisational transformation needs.
Government environment experience in the policing and/or emergency services sectors will be highly regarded !
