Required Degree: 

BS Degree in Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. MS or PhD Preferred

The required degree must be completed by the start date. 

Experience: 

5+ Years of experience working in the networking, cybersecurity, and/or information technology field.

Duties/Expectations: 

• Teach CYBER 247 (3 credit class) from Oct 13, 2026 - end of semester. Course description and outcomes found here: https://catalog.byu.edu/courses/01783-008/course-information-aoYks 
• The faculty is expected to: instruct students in person during designated class times (Tue/Thu 2-3:50pm), provide office consultations and student mentoring, administer course materials (homework/projects), evaluate student work, and administer exams.
• Oversee Teaching Assistants assigned to help with labs and classes.
• Adjunct faculty do not attend faculty meetings and are not required to participate in research or citizenship responsibilities
