The Opportunity:
SAIT has partnered with the Solicitor General and Alberta Advanced Education to deliver H2S Alive Training at Calgary Correctional Centre (CCC). This instructional opportunity to scheduled to deliver in-person training on site at CCC.
The tentative start date is November 2026 to August 2027
Programing will run Monday to Friday (with the exception of Statutory holidays), 2-day course / max 4 hours per day
Approximately 10 courses per year
The ideal candidate would be a local authorized H2S Alive Provider.
Police Information Check is required as part of the onboarding process
Qualifications
Required
Certified H2S Alive Instructor with a minimum of 5 years teaching experience.
Authorized H2S provider
Experience and fluency with Office 365 (MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
Fluent in English reading and vocabulary
Comfortable speaking to the public
Positive & respectful attitude
Ability to read, interpret and deliver specific curriculum
Excellent communication skills
Ability to organize and present written information
Desired:
Training and knowledge of adult learning fundamentals
Formal training or education in facilitation or teaching
Formal training in online technologies
