The RGA Co-Op/Internship Program is committed to providing students with meaningful work and a chance to gain a wide knowledge of the insurance industry and to network with fellow interns and full-time associates. We provide a welcoming environment where students are encouraged to ask questions and contribute their ideas while expanding their technical and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Research and modelling support for analyzing drivers of mortality, morbidity and future trends
• Research and modeling support emerging areas of biometric risk
• Research and benchmarking of studies, pricing bases, models, regulations, and data sources to support actuarial pricing projects

Required Skills:

• Enrolled at the University level and pursuing a Bachelor of Mathematics, with a major in Actuarial Science
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge and understanding of actuarial concepts at a level commensurate with applicant's educational experience
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills:

• Programming experience in VBA
• Passed at least one SOA exam
