About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Payable Officer to join CSA, part of Waste Services Group (WSG), based in Dandenong South.

Reporting to the AP Manager, you’ll play an important role in managing supplier invoices, processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records. You’ll work closely with internal teams across Victoria and Queensland, ensuring invoices are correctly coded, approved and paid on time.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, resolving discrepancies and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices, ensuring purchase orders are referenced and invoices are accurately GL coded.

  • Manage the accounts payable inbox, forwarding invoices to the relevant teams for purchase orders and approvals.

  • Process employee reimbursements and reconcile supplier statements.

  • Prepare and process weekly, semi-monthly and end-of-month payment runs.

  • Maintain organised records of processed invoices within the appropriate payment folders.

  • Assist with month-end accruals and cash flow forecasting.

  • Reconcile waste invoices and investigate discrepancies to ensure billing accuracy.

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders across CSA and Argus Operations teams in Victoria and Queensland to resolve invoice queries and keep processes running smoothly.

About You

You’re a proactive and organised individual with a strong eye for detail and the ability to manage high volumes of financial administration accurately. You enjoy working collaboratively, communicating with stakeholders and ensuring deadlines are met.

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in accounts payable, invoice processing or a similar finance administration role.

  • Experience using MYOB and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Strong numerical skills and a high level of accuracy when handling financial data.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.

  • A professional approach to handling confidential financial information.

  • A proactive mindset, with a willingness to identify discrepancies, resolve issues and contribute to process improvements.
