For our office in Ibiza, we are looking for a detailed and organized Accounting Specialist (m/f/x) to join our team. 

Your Responsibilities

• Register and record vendor and customer invoices, alongside day-to-day accounting transactions.
• Manage bank reconciliations and oversee treasury cash flow movements.
• Perform accounts payable (AP) reconciliations.
• Monitor and record daily billing and invoicing operations.
• Process and record corporate expenses (PLEO).
• Perform reconciliations between general ledger accounting and POS systems.
• Assist with monthly and annual financial closing processes.
• Prepare accruals, deferrals, and expense provisions for accounting closes.
• Collaborate in gathering documentation and data for external and internal audits.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting documentation.

Your Profile

• Degree or formal training in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
• Proven track record in accounting roles with strong knowledge of financial accounting and the full accounting cycle.
• Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Familiarity with Spanish Accounting Standards (PGC).
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong planning skills, a proactive and autonomous approach, and the ability to work effectively under tight monthly closing deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a willingness to contribute to a supportive team environment.
• Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English.
