The Accountant will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of Alcazar Energy, Egypt, including its project companies, by performing day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and local regulations. The role will assist in financial reporting, budgeting, and audits to ensure timely and accurate financial information for decision-making.

• Maintaining accurate financial records and monitoring site and office petty cash.

• Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.

• Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.

• Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities.

• Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.

• Computing taxes (WHT, VAT reverse Charge, Wage tax)

• Monthly reconciliation for A/P and A/R, miniating fixed assets registers and reconciliation EGP & USD books.

• Assisting in year-end auditing tasks.

• Co-ordination with Government bodies, customers and suppliers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting from well-known university.

• Completed IFRS diploma.

• From 3 to 5 years’ experience in accounting field, preferable with one of the big four auditing firm.
